And how could all of these elements be related?
NL – Dizzy Lizzy is een super dynamische coole hagedis, en een dame! En zij houdt heel erg van samen spelen en bedenkt samen met haar familie (de Dizzy Lizzy familie) en spelers spellen en spelvormen die gezinnen met plezier aan de speeltafel samenbrengen! Zij speelt zelf de hoofdrol in haar eerste spel “Dizzy Lizzy”, maar heeft ondertussen ook een vervolgspel ontwikkeld met haar kleine neefje “Snacko Gecko”!
EN – Dizzy Lizzy is a super dynamic, cool lizard, and a lady! She loves playing together and, together with her family (the Dizzy Lizzy family) and players, she comes up with games and game modes that bring families together in tabletop play! She plays the leading role in her first game, ‘Dizzy Lizzy’, but has also developed a sequel with her little nephew, ‘Snacko Gecko’!
NL – Snacko Gecko (“Snacko” is een bijnaam, zijn echte naam is “Wacko Gecko”), is het jonge neefje van Dizzy Lizzy. Snacko Gecko houdt van samen feesten, lekker sociaal met elkaar. Daarom geeft hij een pizza feestje! In dit feestje komen verschillende persoonlijkheden samen in een sociale uitdaging die onderhandelingen simuleert, die kan worden gebruikt om na te denken, van te leren, maar bovenal: om plezier te hebben!
EN – Snacko Gecko (‘Snacko’ is a nickname; his real name is ‘Wacko Gecko’) is Dizzy Lizzy’s young nephew. Snacko Gecko loves to be social together. That’s why he’s throwing a pizza party! At this party, different personalities come together in a social challenge that simulates negotiations, which can be used to think, learn, but above all: To have fun!
NL – Dat vragen Dizzy Lizzy en Snacko Gecko zich ook af; niet langer op kaarten, maar op dobbelstenen, en wat de Alien precies zeggen daar verstaan we niet veel van. Maar wat hadden we dan verwacht van buitenaards leven? Dat het ABN zou spreken?
EN – That’s what Dizzy Lizzy and Snacko Gecko wonder too; no longer on cards, but on dice, and we don’t understand much of what the Alien is saying. But what did we expect from extraterrestrial life? That it would speak standard British English?
NL – Wij, de ‘Dizzy Lizzy familie’, komen uit Zuid Holland en zijn in 2023 begonnen met tafelspelletjes maken voor gezinnen met kinderen van alle leeftijden. Ons doel is om spellen te maken die op een leuke manier te spelen zijn met alle leeftijden samen. Daarbij drukken wij het liefst geen regels op de kaarten of dobbelstenen zelf, want dan zijn de mogelijkheden eindeloos! En wij vinden het geweldig om deze samen met jullie, de spelers, te ontdekken.
EN – We, the “Dizzy Lizzy family”, come from South Holland and started making board games for families with children of all ages in 2023. Our goal is to create games that can be played in a fun way with all ages together. We prefer not to print rules on the cards or dice themselves, because then the possibilities are endless! And we love discovering them together with you, the players.
